The island community also offers a choice of membership in two membership clubs: The Club at Duck Key, a recreation swimming, tennis and social club for shareholder property owners on the residential islands; and the Indies Club, a commercial club operated by Hawk's Cay Resort.  Shareholder membership in Club Duck Key is transferable with the sale of property.

Visible in the center of this phote is Center Island. Many of the inland lots on Center Island have yet to be developed. The canal separating Plantation and Yacht Club Islands from Center Island leads to a boat basin called Lake Lucille. Another canal entering Lake Lucille separates Center Island from commercially zoned Indies Island and the Hawk's Cay Resort.
